BRIEF
FUNC. was hired to update the landing page content and structure for BowGlass Works.

SOLUTION
We provided BowGlass with two different redesigns backed in research and testing.

BEFORE

AFTER

“Design without words is just decoration.”

-Jared Spool-

At FUNC., content precedes design, always.

The discovery stage is geared towards gathering information about your product, your audience, and what your business goals are.

We’ll dive into research to uncover any problems your users are experiencing, and use what we find to determine what they want, the order in which they want it, and how it should be delivered.

THE BEGINNING

THE MIDDLE

“Content design is about what is there, but also what is not there.”

-Sarah Winters-

This is where get into the nitty-gritty of the actual writing, taking what we learned from the initial call and putting words down to support your goals and abolish whatever friction points we uncovered during our rounds of research.

Testing happens early and often to make sure what we write is good for you, your product, and your user. We’ll keep you in the loop of any interesting points we come across.

Once the content is more or less set, we’ll get into the vibe of the site: we’ll talk color schemes, Pinterest mood boards, tone of voice, and whatever else the project calls for.

We’ll send over a few versions of the hero section (examples below) and base the rest of the design on whatever you choose.

OPTION #1

OPTION #2

THE END

We’ll send over a high-fidelity prototype of the redesigned landing page with an attached PDF of our content research and testing insights.

What happens next is up to you: you can walk away with our redesign or hire FUNC. to implement the changes to your site using whatever hosting platform you use.
